What is Current?

Current pairs off-chain intelligence with on-chain automation to deliver curated 1-click DeFi vaults that earn higher, safer yield. Our first product CRNT sets the benchmark for reliable, diversified blue chip USD yield on Ethereum.

The Current ecosystem is a comprehensive suite of products designed to make onchain earning simple, safe, and powerful. It’s built on the Current Protocol, which uses off-chain intelligence and on-chain automation to deliver higher, safer yield.

CRNT

CRNT is Current’s flagship vault, delivering institutional-grade USD yield through automated capital allocation.

  • It automatically reallocates across top-tier strategies to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
  • It aims to establish the benchmark rate for safe, blue-chip USD yield on Ethereum.

Boosties

Boosties is the dedicated liquid locker and staking platform for Yearn, built with Yearn V3.

  • Maximize your dYFI rewards from Yearn vaults without managing your own veYFI position.
  • Includes CRNT-YFI for liquid YFI locking and the dYFI Redeemer for gas-less reward redemption.

Current Protocol

The underlying protocol that powers the ecosystem. It provides:

  • A simplified way to earn onchain that abstracts away the complexity of DeFi.
  • Access to sophisticated strategies managed by experts like Gauntlet.
  • Elimination of loss-versus-rebalancing (LVR) through Programmatic Orders for better returns.

$COVE

$COVE is the protocol’s governance token. It is currently used for onchain governance, giving the community control over the protocol’s future. It is currently non-transferable.
